The Mexican independence day is celebrated on September 16th. “Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over the French forces of Napoleon III on May 5, 1862, at the Battle of Puebla.” Lee “Mexico had troubles paying back war debts to European countries, and France had come to Mexico to collect that debt.” Lee

Marketers are always looking for the next big money maker. What can advertising do? What will get the American public to celebrate something and get drunk over it.
